ShoeboxDentist is the brainchild of Lori Anna Dees, DDS.
Dr. Dees grew up in Texas. In 1995 she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Batchelor of Arts in Art History. In 2000 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Before starting her residency in endodontics, Dr. Dees worked in private practice in general dentistry for 2 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She received her Certificate of Endodontics from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center at New Orleans in 2004. Since 2004 Dr. Dees has been in private practice as an endodontist in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Dr. Dees is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Dees owns two dental offices, Mesquite Endodontics, where she practices full-time, and Mockingbird Dental Group, which she manages.
Currently, she is a 2015 MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management in the Leadership in Healthcare program.
ShoeboxDentist is an independent study project, mentored by Professor Maureen Burke, who teaches at Yale School of Management and Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Dr. Dees will get a grade on this project. :-)
